PORTLAND — The rock band Hinder, which has sold 3 million-plus albums in the United States with its epic 2006 debut album “Extreme Behavior” and “Take It To The Limit,” will perform at The State Theater on Wednesday, Feb. 9.
“Extreme Behavior” became a mainstay on the Billboard Top 200 Album charts for more than 70 weeks, winning the band accolades as the most successful grassroots-artist development stories of the decade.
“Extreme Behavior” launched five successful singles, including the multiformat No. 1 smash “Lips Of An Angel,” which earned dozens of chart-topping merit badges, Active Rock Radio’s distinction as most popular rock single of 2006 and three BMI Awards, including pop Song of the Year and Internet Song of the Year.
Hinder’s “Take It To The Limit” debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 and included hits “Use Me” and the Top 40 smash and video hit “Without You.”
The band’s third studio album, “All American Nightmare,” released on Dec. 14, debuted at No. 1 on the iTunes Rock Chart and No. 6 overall. The first single, “All American Nightmare,” is a Top 10 track at Rock Radio.
