RUMFORD — Scot Grassette, an award-winning comedy magician, will emcee a night of stand-up comedy with two comedians from New York City on Friday and Saturday, Feb. 18-19,  at 49 Franklin Reception Hall.

Headlining will be Mary Dimino, a familiar face on television, and the 2010 MAC Award Winner for Outstanding Female Comedian.

Also featured will be Rumford native Sassi Keegan, formerly Jennifer Sassi, who became known as Sassi when she moved to New York City to pursue a career in acting. She married Jim Keegan and took last name.

Keegan has appeared on MTV, Nickelodeon, a Lysol commercial, “Good Morning America,” and has done promos for “The Cartoon Network.” She has worked with Chicago City Limits and Blue Man Group: Tubes and The National Theatre of Performing Arts.

She has also been featured in the New York Underground Comedy and Mamapalooza festivals. Her home club is the Broadway Comedy Club in New York City.

Dimino is a winner of the 2008 Gracie Allen Award presented by American Women in Radio and Television to individuals who have encouraged the realistic and faceted portrayal of women in entertainment, commercials and featured programming.

She has appeared on Comedy Central, VH-1, HBO’s “Chris Rock Show;” in  sketches on the “Late Show with David Letterman,” and “Late Night with Conan O’Brien;” and in dozens of national commercials.

Most recently, Dimino’s one-woman show, “Scared Skinny,” won best solo show in the New York Fringe Festival. Her home comedy club is Stand Up New York, in New York City.

The PG-13 show, which contains mature humor, will begin at 7 p.m. Tickets are $15 at the door, $12 in advance. Tickets may be purchased at www.49franklin.com or on Congress Street at Bartash Cards and Gifts or All That Jazz.
