WILTON — Rodney and Meredith Vining of Wilton are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Cathy Vining of Woolwich, to Howard Gillespie of Woolwich, son of Tanya Gillespie of Freeport.

The future bride is employed at the Maine Department of Marine Resources.

The future bridegroom is employed at Emery Waterhouse.
