WILTON — The Wilton Extension held a day meeting on Jan. 13 at the Wilton Fire Station, with five members and two guests present.

It was noted that $200 was made on the Rotary tree in December. The spring county Extension meeting is set for May 26 in Weld. It was voted to make pot-holders as the county project this year and to make felt doves for the Extension Christmas tree. Ideas given for train the trainer were healthy cooking and easy exercises.

The group is hoping to double membership this year. The two guests, Annette Spevak and Cherilyn Klinker, joined.

Becky Tyler presented a program on Argentina, and a meal using Argentina recipes was served.

The next meeting will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 10, at the Wilton Fire Station. The topic will be “Get to Know Your Town,” presented by Hazel Flagg. All are welcome. For more information, call Hazel Flagg at 645-2423 or e-mail Becky at [email protected].
