READFIELD, Maine (AP) — A Maine woman has confirmed that her husband’s body was discovered in their Readfield home after a fire.

The body was burned beyond recognition Wednesday, and state police are awaiting DNA tests to confirm the victim’s identity. But Janet Orr says there’s little doubt it was her husband, Robert.

A man accused of setting the fatal fire was arrested Thursday in Massachusetts, where he’s being held as a fugitive from justice. Thirty-two-year-old David Silva Jr. faces charges of murder, arson and robbery in Maine.

The investigation moved to Massachusetts after Orr’s pickup truck was found in Marshfield, Mass

Janet Orr tells the Kennebec Journal that she and her husband let Silva and a woman live with them while they were getting on their feet.
