World Day of Prayer
CANTON — Friday, March 4, is World Day of Prayer 2011. The day is an ecumenical celebration of informed prayer and provides an opportunity for communities to join together for prayer and fellowship.
All are invited to join in the prayer service, written by the women of Chile for families in need worldwide.
The theme is “How Many Loaves Have You?” This year’s service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, March 4, at the Canton United Baptist Church, Route 108. Members of the Congregational Church of East Sumner will lead the program. For more information, contact Linda Glass 388-2263.
