RANGELEY — Nationally known stand-up comedian Bob Marley will bring his famous rubbery face expressions and knack for poking fun at Mainers, out-of-staters and anyone else to Saddleback Maine.

On Wednesday, Feb. 23, the Maine native and University of Maine at Farmington graduate will give two high-energy shows, in response to last year’s quick sell-out performance.

Shows will be at 6 and 8 p.m. (sold out)  in the base lodge, with 200 tickets per show. Tickets, $20, may be purchased by calling 866-918-2225 or visiting www.saddlebackmaine.com.

Celebrating 15 years as a stand-up comic, Marley is one of the hottest and most sought-after comedians in the country. He has had his own special on Comedy Central; has appeared on all of the late-night TV shows as well as in several films; and performs comedy shows nonstop across the country in such cities as Los Angles, Las Vegas, Washington, D.C., Boston, New York and Denver.

Mainers know him well for his many Project Graduation fundraisers and his lively holiday shows.

Last September, Marley set a new Guinness World Record of 40 hours for Longest Stand-up Comedy Show by an Individual, raising more than $12,000 for the Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital at Maine Medical Center in Portland.

Other school vacation week events at Saddleback include the annual Ski Patrol Torchlight Parade at 6 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 24, followed by a professional fireworks display at 7 p.m. (rain date for fireworks, Feb. 25); and vacation week rail jams from 4 to 8 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday.
