MEXICO — Timothy and Sally Roy of Mexico are happy to announce the engagement of their daughter, Heidi Roy, to Brendan Sheehan of Rockville Centre, N.Y., son of Jeffery and Susan Sheehan.

Miss Roy is a graduate of Mountain Valley High School and received her pharmacy degree from the University of Rhode Island. She is currently residing in Portland, enjoying her career as a pharmacist with Hannaford. She is the granddaughter of Madeline Fournier and the late Edward Fournier of Rumford, and Simone and Richard Porter of Dixfield.

Mr. Sheehan teaches at Baldwin Middle School in Baldwin, N.Y. He received his undergraduate degree at the University of Albany and his master’s degree in special education at the College of Saint Rose in Albany, N.Y.

The two met through a mutual friend. They will be married in June in Portland.
