ANSWER: They already are. Sun Spots spoke to Director Rick Speer, who said that Twin Cities’ residents can use either library. He said you should be able to use your card at Auburn. If you are having difficulties, perhaps your card has expired. To renew it, visit either library with proof of your current address (an example would be a utility bill).

DEAR SUN SPOTS: I am looking for a cookbook compiled by the ladies of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Berlin, N.H., in 1969 called “Our Daily Bread.” If someone has one they are not using, I would like to purchase it for my daughter, or if the church still has copies, I would like to buy one or more. — Anna Justard, Rumford, 364-7240

ANSWER: Many churches appear to have named their cookbooks “Our Daily Bread.” Googling that title turned up dozens of hits, but Sun Spots did not find a copy. If you want to call the church in New Hampshire, their number is 603-752-1410.

DEAR SUN SPOTS: Could you or the readers help me locate a book called “Imperfect Love”? The author is Judy Soucier. I tried finding this online, but it came up as a different author. Thank you for helping the readers with your column. — Lisa, Buffey261@juno.com

ANSWER: Sun Spots found this book at Amazon.com among other sites. In some places it’s listed as being by J.C. Soucier, but it appears to be the book you are looking for, a love story written by a Maine woman whose son was fathered by a priest. The original title was slightly different, “Perfect: A Love Story.” It is available under that title in the Lewiston library.

ANSWER: Sun Spots wishes she could be more encouraging, but there is very little to no market for poetry other than an occasional poem in a magazine or a book by a renowned poet. However, there are some tips on poetry publishing at www.poets.org (http://tinyurl.com/696k73p) you may find helpful.

The lack of publishing or monetary potential does not mean you should not continue to write and enjoy your poetry. One of Sun Spots’ friends writes poetry and draws, and she self-publishes a limited number of books to share with family and friends.

Many aspiring songwriters perform their songs and then put them on YouTube.
