LEEDS — The Androscoggin Retired Educators’ Association will meet Wednesday, April 13, at the Leeds Community Church. The business meeting will begin at 10:30 a.m. Speaker will be Charles W. Plummer, educator, in his role as Joshua L. Chamberlain.
The women of the church will serve a turkey dinner. The cost of the meal will be $9 a person.
The STEP Program at Lewiston High School has received materials donated by AREA members. The most pressing need at present is for the following items: shampoo, conditioners, waters, juices, granola bars and three-ring binders.
Anyone needing transportation to the meeting should call Hugh Keene at 783-3326 or Barbara Randall at 783-3371.
