LISBON FALLS — The Delta Heart and Portland First Baptist Church Choirs will present “Jesus Shall Reign,” an Easter musical directed by Lee Hixon, at 6 p.m. Saturday, April 9, at the Lisbon Falls Church of the Nazarene, 184 Main St.
Benefit event
AUBURN — A benefit dart shoot will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, April 10, at the New Auburn Social Club, 7 Second St., New Auburn. Proceeds will go to a 5-year-old girl born with Spina Bifida. Person to Person
POLAND — The Ricker Library Person to Person potluck/program will take place from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Sunday, April 10, in the library’s community room. Following the dinner hour, Auburn musician, Greg Boardman, will lead some of his middle school students in an evening of fiddle music.
The program, sponsored by Friends of Ricker Library, is free. Everyone is invited. Supper guests are asked to bring a casserole, salad or dessert for the potluck table.
Club speaker
LEWISTON — The Auburn-Lewiston Art AND Literature Club will meet at 2 p.m. Monday, April 11, at the Lewiston Public Library. Rick Spear, library director, will present an overview on the past and future of the library. His topic will be “The Lewiston Public Library in the 21st Century.” Guests are welcome.
St. Ann Sodality
LEWISTON — The Ladies of St. Ann Sodality of Holy Family, Prince of Peace Parish, will hold a general membership meeting at 6 p.m. Wednesday, April 13, in the parish hall. Doors will open at 5:30.
Election of officers will be held, as well as presentation of honorary memberships. The speaker will be Christine Wilson from Met Life. Refreshments will be provided by Flo Marquis.
Breastfeeding group
AUBURN — The La Leche League, which offers breastfeeding information and encouragement to pregnant women, new mothers and growing families, will meet at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 13, at 102 Bennett Ave. Babies are welcome.
All concerns about breastfeeding are welcome for discussion in addition to the scheduled topic, “ Breastfeeding, the Mother-Baby Relationship and the Weaning Process.” The discussion will include nutrition for nursing mothers, introducing solids to baby and the weaning breastfed baby.

Going to NYC
LISBON — The Lisbon Recreation Department is going to New York City and the trip is open to any adult from any town for a price of $415pp double occupancy. A $75 deposit holds a spot with the balance due by April 25.
