Egg hunt

WATERFORD — The Waterford Library invites Waterford kids elementary school age and under to an Easter Egg hunt at 3 p.m. on Sunday, April 23. Books will be given as prizes for participants. The library is located on routes 35 and 37.

The library recently reopened after extensive renovations. Hours are Mondays 2-6 p.m., Wednesdays 3-8 p.m., Fridays 10 a.m. to noon and Saturdays 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Easter eggs

OTISFIELD — An Easter egg hunt will be held, rain or shine, at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 23, at the Otisfield Community School. Sign-in starts at 10:30 a.m.

Children 12 and under are invited and must be accompanied by an adult. Please bring a basket or a bag.

Easter party

OXFORD — Oxford Recreation will host an Easter party from 10 to 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 23, at the recreation building for all Oxford residents.

There will be games and prizes from 10 to 11 and an Easter egg hunt at 11.

PARIS — North Paris Federated Church will hold a sunrise service at 7 a.m. on Sunday, April 24.

WEST PARIS — West Paris Baptist Church will hold an Easter breakfast at 8 a.m. on Sunday, April 24, followed by the Easter service at 9 a.m.

WEST PARIS — Mission Congregational Church will hold an Easter service at 11 a.m. on Sunday, April 24.

Union Church Easter

LOCKE MILLS — The Locke Mills Union Church will hold an Easter sunrise service at 6 a.m. on Sunday, April 24, followed by breakfast. Regular church service will be at 9 a.m., joined by Rumford Point Congregational Church. All are welcome.

OXFORD — Sunrise service will be held at 6 a.m. Sunday, April 24, at Grace Fellowship Church, Poplar Street, complete with a full Easter breakfast. Participants are encouraged to dress warmly. All are welcome. Regular service hours will follow.

‘What Is Truth?’

PARIS — “That haunting question asked of Jesus by Pilate, ‘What Is Truth?'” will be Silver Moore-Leamon’s Easter sermon topic at the 10 a.m. service on Sunday, April 24, at the First Universalist Church, 36 Pine St., South Paris. Music will be by the choir, Renee Wales and Forest Perkins, church organist. The Sunday School will be under the leadership of Renee Wales. The Coffee Hour will follow in Good Cheer Hall. Everyone is welcome.
