FARMINGTON — A slow-moving car on the Livermore Falls Road was rear-ended by a truck Tuesday afternoon, damaging both vehicles. No one was injured, police said.
Police believe a Mazda sedan driven by Roger Frenette, 55, of Hampton, N.H., was barely moving when a Dodge pickup driven by Donald Savage, 68, of Jay struck it, Farmington Officer Kim Bates said. The car then hit a bridge, damaging the passenger side, she said.
Frenette said he was traveling 25 mph coming into a 45 mph zone, but police think he may have been going slower, judging from the damage.
Neither driver was hurt, nor was a passenger in the truck, Sean Maguire, 16, of Farmington.
The car was towed by Dutch Gap Auto and the truck by Collins, Bates said.
