FARMINGTON -— The Farmington Arts Celebration, a collaboration of student and community artists, will take place on Saturday, May 7, in Meetinghouse Park on Main Street.

Musicians, writers, poets, painters and other artists will come together to share their talents and to promote unity through the arts.

The event, hosted by the University of Maine at Farmington’s Project One class, will run from noon until 4 p.m. Admission is free. Rain day is May 8. People are urged to bring a chair.
