FARMINGTON — Some downtown stores are preparing their own sidewalk sales and specials to go along with the Farmington Downtown Association’s yard sale planned from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday in the district court house parking lot on Main Street.
The yard sale is free for any person or organization to sell items, Sue Jones, an organizer, said. Free space is available for one table setup per per person, business or organization.
Participants have to bring their own table but they are welcome to just come on Saturday and organizers will find a place for them, she said. Setup begins at 8 a.m.
The event was originally scheduled for last Saturday but was postponed due to the weather.
