AUBURN — The March of Dimes’ annual March for Babies will begin Sunday in Auburn, and motorists are urged to use caution as pedestrians walk the route.
The 3-mile fundraising walk is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. at the Hilton Garden Inn Riverwatch, with walkers heading down the Riverwalk path to Rodney Bonney Memorial Park. From there, walkers will cross the railroad trestle into Lewiston, turn right on Oxford Street, left on Chestnut Street and cross through Kennedy Park.
Walkers will exit the park, turning left on Bates Street, right on College Street, left on Holland Street and left on Main Street, crossing the Longley Bridge back over to the Hilton Garden. For more information, visit www.marchforbabies.org.
