BETHEL — Town meeting voters next month get to elect two new members to the Board of Selectmen from a field of six candidates.
Jack Cross and Dennis Doyon are not seeking re-election to three-year terms.
Candidates are James Bennett, Seabury Lyon, Lloyd Sweetser, Pat Carter, Larry Smith and Peter Southam.
The other contested race is for two three-year seats on the SAD 44 Board of Directors. Roberta Taylor is seeking re-election but Carol Everett is not. Other candidates are Katherine Botka and Erin Collins.
For the Board of Assessors, incumbents Donald G. Bennett and Robert Blake are running unopposed for three-year terms.
Town meeting elections will be held from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 14, in the Crescent Park School gym.
