SABATTUS — Mona Guertin, who has been teaching school for 30 years, has been chosen as Sabattus Elementary School’s nominee for state teacher of the year.

Ms. Guertin has taught all grades in various parochial schools in Maine and Massachusetts, and has been at the Sabattus school for 16 years.
