AUBURN — Auburn Public Library has announced the summer schedule for its PrimeTime Tuesdays program series. Prime Time Tuesdays are especially for adults age 50 and over, but all are welcome to attend.
Admission to movies is 50 cents and includes popcorn and punch; all other programs are free. Unless otherwise noted, all programs begin at 2 p.m. in the library’s Androscoggin Community Room.
The programs are: June 7, classic movie: “Take Me Out to the Ball Game,” with Gene Kelly and Frank Sinatra. June 14, classic movie: “Road to Morocco,” with Bing Crosby and Bob Hope. June 21, speaker: “Albert Hannibal Builds a Canal: The Birth of Lewiston-Auburn,” with Kerck Kelsey. June 28, classic movie: “Bells are Ringing,” with Judy Holiday and Dean Martin.
Also, July 12, classic movie: “Cover Girl,” with Rita Hayworth and Gene Kelly. July 19, classic movie: “Annie, Get Your Gun,” with Betty Hutton and Howard Keel. July 26, classic movie, ”Houseboat,” with Cary Grant and Sophia Loren. Aug. 2, speaker: “The Lewiston-Auburn Area: Look How We’ve Changed!” with Chip Morrison.
