Incident Report Statistics

Patrol officers responded to 94 complaints from midnight May 23 to 5 p.m. May 29, not including basic traffic stops.

Arrests/Summonses

May 25 at 10:45 a.m.: Amanda Spitzer, 29, of Dixfield was arrested by Sgt. Douglas Maifeld on River Street on a warrant charging failure to appear for driving without a license. Spitzer posted $250 cash bail and was released.

May 26 at 6:35 p.m.: Kandice Child, 37, of Canton was arrested by Patrolman Brad Gallant on Lincoln Avenue on charges of violation conditions of release. Child was unable to post bail, was transported to the Oxford County Jail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on July 5.

May 27 at 11:55 a.m.: Chanda Sanfratello, 32, of Rumford was arrested by Patrolman Brock Clukey on Hancock Street on a charge of domestic violence assault. Sanfratello posted $800 unsecured bail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on July 5.

May 27 at 1 p.m.: Clarence Thompkins, 40, of Carthage was arrested by Patrolman Dave Hodgson on Congress Street on charges of violation protection order. Thompkins posted $500 unsecured bail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on July 5.

May 27 at 3:15 p.m.: Melvin Knox, 53, of Carthage was arrested by Patrolman Brock Clukey on Lowell Street on a charge of disorderly conduct. Knox was unable to post bail, was transported to the Oxford County Jail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on July 5.

May 27 at 5:25 p.m.: Raynold Lee, 43, of Rumford was summoned by Cpl. Lawrence Winson on Hancock Street on a charge of violation of bail. Lee is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Aug. 2.

May 28 at 4:15 p.m.: Kasey Downs, 21, of Bethel was summoned by Patrolman Brad Gallant on Route 2 on charges of violation of bail and failure to obtain a State of Maine license with 30 days of residency. Downs is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Aug. 2.

May 29 at 2:38 a.m.: Marc Hand, 35, of Wilton was arrested by acting Cpl. Donald Miller on River Street on a charge of operating under the influence/second offense and operating beyond license restrictions. Hand posted $300 cash bail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Aug. 2.
