RUMFORD — Funeral services for Ruperta Nancy Nichols of Rumford were conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 2, at the Meader & Son Funeral Home, 3 Franklin St., Rumford, with the Rev. Dan Pearson officiating. Music selections included “Amazing Grace,” sung by Malanie LeFrinea, “Softly and Tenderly” and “Imagine,” sung by Amy Grant. Words of Remembrance were given by Clyde Kerr, the Rev. Bruce Tyner, the Rev. Glendon Gammon, Joshua Shaw, and Clemma Nichols. Pallbearers were Mark Kerr, Paul Pierce, Arthur Shaw, Joshua Shaw, Sam Maruka, and Charles Hood. Committal services were conducted by the Rev. Dan Pearson and the Rev. Pastor Bruce Tyner. Interment was in the Farrington Morton Cemetery, Mexico. A reception followed at the Rumford First Baptist Church.
