AUBURN — Prior to the Wednesday, July 13, performance by the Auburn Community Concert Band, the female duo Dawning Light will entertain at Festival Plaza in the downtown.

Singers Stephanie Hughes and Darlene Clute will present original compositions from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Their songs share universal themes of love, peace, joy and harmony.

Starting at 7 p.m., the Auburn Community Concert Band will present “It’s Showtime!” — the fifth of its 11-week concert series. This free, 75-minute program will feature a collection of memorable tunes fromBroadway and from the big screen.
