Arrests/summonses
July 20 at 2:09 a.m.: 17-year-old female from Rumford was summoned by Patrolman Joseph Sage on Cumberland Street on a charge of illegal possession of alcohol by a minor. She is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Sept. 6.
July 20 at 2:09 a.m.: John Oberton, 18, of Livermore Falls was summoned by Patrolman Joseph Sage on Cumberland Street on a charge of violation of bail. Oberton is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Sept. 6.
July 20 at 5:10 a.m., Ashley Brown, 22, of Rumford was arrested by Patrolman Joseph Sage on Waldo Street on a charge of domestic violence assault. Brown posted $500 unsecured bail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Sept. 6.
July 20 at 5:09 p.m.: Kandice Child, 37, of Rumford was arrested by Sgt. Tracey Higley on Oxford Avenue on charges of domestic violence assault and violation of bail. Child who was unable to post bail and taken to the Oxford County Jail. He is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Sept. 6.
July 20 at 5:58 p.m.: Gary Barnett, 21, of Rumford was summoned by Cpl. Lawrence Winson on Byron Street on a charge of operating after suspension . Barnett is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Oct. 4.
July 21 at 1:00 a.m., Derek Dearborn, 22, of Dixfield was summoned by acting Cpl. Donald Miller on Hancock Street on a charge of violation of bail. Dearborn is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Oct. 4.
July 21 at 11:01 p.m., Timothy Doble, 23, of Mexico was summoned by acting Cpl. Donald Miller on Lincoln Avenue on a charge of operating under the influence. Doble is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Oct. 4.
July 21 at 11:21 p.m.: Brooke Hutchins, 18, of Rumford was summoned by Cpl. Lawrence Winson on Hancock Street on a charge of assault. Hutchins is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Oct. 4.
July 22 at 1:14 a.m.: Diamond Coke, 18, of Rumford was arrested by Sgt. Douglas Maifeld on Pine Street on a charge of domestic violence assault. Coke posted $1,000 unsecured bail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Sept. 6.
July 23 at 9:48 p.m., Thorin Walton, 37, of Rumford was arrested by acting Cpl. Donald Miller on River Street on a warrant charging terrorizing. Walton was unable to post bail and was transported to the Oxford County Jail.
July 24 at 1:25 a.m.: Dale Korhonen, 23, of Jay was arrested by acting Cpl. Donald Miller on Cumberland Street on a charge of criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon. Korhonen, who was unable to post bail, was transported to the Oxford County Jail and is scheduled to appear in Superior Court in South Paris on Sept. 6.
Burglary
July 18 at 8:15 a.m.: Sgt. Douglas Maifeld investigated Black Mountain being burglarized. The was $1,700 damage. The case is under investigation.
July 21 at 5:51 p.m.: Cpl. Lawrence Winson investigated a residence on Waldo Street being burglarized. $60 worth of light bulbs were stolen.
Criminal mischief
July 18 at 8:25 a.m.: Patrolman Dave Hodgson investigated an incident where a wall was spray painted on York Street. No damage estimate listed.
July 24 at 10:35 a.m.: Patrolman Dave Hodgson investigated an incident where a tire was cut and vehicle scratched on Hancock Street. The damage was estimated at $200.
Theft
July 19 at 12:50 p.m.: Patrolman Dave Hodgson investigated the theft of a GPS unit valued at $125 from a vehicle on Route 108.
July 19 at 12:50 p.m.: Sgt. Douglas Maifeld is investigating the theft of a debit card from a Penobscot Street resident. The loss estimate is pending.
July 22 at 8:05 a.m.: Sgt. Douglas Maifeld is investigating the theft of a hammock from a Knox Street residence. Estimated loss is $200.
