Two holes-in-one highlighted recent activity on the local links.

Sue Tiner recorded her second career hole-in-one Tuesday on the 156-yard mnth hole at Martindale Country Club. Tiner used a 5-wood to record her ace. Playing partners and witnesses to the shot were Donna Brewster and Faye Brickel.

Victor Gaudreau of Lewiston, a member of Poland Spring Country Club, made a hole-in-one while playing 18 holes at Wilson Lake Country Club in Wilton on Tuesday. Gaudreau carded his ace on the 140-yard, par-3 seventh hole. He hit his Titleist NXT Tour ball high, using his pitching wedge. According to one of the witnesses, the ball landed approximately three feet behind the hole, then rolled back in. Gaudreau’s daughter, Gena Gaudreau, and Brad Deardon were witnesses. It was the second hole-in-one registered at Wilson Lake this season.
