AUBURN — Daniel and Kim Godin of Lewiston are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Shannon Godin of Auburn, to Thomas Tanguay of Auburn, son of Kelly McMorran of Auburn.

Miss Godin is a 2003 graduate of Lewiston High School and attended Virginia Commonwealth University. She is employed in the mortgage department at TD Bank in Lewiston.

Mr. Tanguay is a 2001 graduate of Edward Little High School and served four years in the U.S. Marine Corps. He is employed in the mortgage department at TD Bank in Lewiston.

The couple is planning a tropical destination wedding in the fall of 2012.
