Creativity in colors
Harvest Gold Gallery in Lovell is showing original acrylic cityscapes by Boston artist Ros Farbush through Columbus Day. Farbush captures the light of everyday scenes with bright colors in an Impressionistic style. “Artists see things a lot differently. Because of the creativity in us, we see a lot of colors that other people don’t see. … I like to capture the essence of the moment, a certain color or the energy of a landscape; I want to record the drama of life through my art,” Farbush said. She has taught drawing and painting for more than 30 years at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston. She is a member of the prestigious Copley Society of Art, the oldest art association in America, where she holds the title of master painter. The gallery is open daily on Route 5.
