FARMINGTON — Rebecca Sylvester, a family nurse practitioner, has joined the staff of Franklin Health Women’s Care. 

Sylvester recently received her master’s degree in nursing in the family nurse practitioner program from the University of Southern Maine. She received her bachelor’s degree in nursing from St. Joseph’s College of Maine. Most recently, Sylvester worked as a registered nurse on the medical/surgical unit at Maine General Medical Center, beginning in 2004.

Sylvester is a native of Farmington who now resides in Mt. Vernon with her husband, Matt, and infant son.

Franklin Health Women’s Care offers a full range of women’s health services at its offices on the first floor of the Franklin Health Medical Arts Center, next to Franklin Memorial Hospital.
