AUBURN — Meineke Car Care advanced to the fifth round of the playoffs in the Auburn Rec Players League after picking up two recent victories.

Meineke defeated Tail Gators, 19-6, at Pettingill Park. Scott Albert, Bill Reynolds and Mike Langlois all contributed extensively on offense. Bob Sawyer picking up the pitching win.

Later, Meineke went on to defeat Buckfield Mall, 17-12, at Tribou Field. Jeff Goss, Ryan Wilson and Gregg Rose powered the offense. Rose homered in the seventh inning. John Langelier notched the win in the circle for Meineke, which will face Hartt Transportation at Lakeview Field on Wednesday.
