RUMFORD — A Mass of Christian Burial honoring the life of Joseph E.R. Martineau was celebrated Thursday at Parish of the Holy Savior. The Rev. James Martel was the celebrant. Mark Belanger was the organist. Music selections were “Hosea,” “Because the Lord is My Shepherd,” “We Will Rise Again” and “America.” Readings were presented by Doris Nila Martineau and Jackie Kilbreth. Gifts were presented by Marcel and Doris Nila Martineau. Personal reflections were shared by his granddaughter, Kristian Martineau. Bearers were Leroy LeBlanc, Mike Perry, Raymond Martineau and Marcel Martineau. Military Honors were rendered by the U.S. Navy Honor Guard. Services were under the care and guidance of SG Thibault Funeral Home.
