I saw Lewiston Mayor Larry Gilbert on the news several times in the past few days. He was speaking about the “temporary casino,” and said that the only person who had questions was the man who is a school board officer. (I think there may be more than one person.)
Why does only one person with questions mean he can be ignored? Doesn’t every citizen deserve to get honest answers to his or her questions?
Gilbert is in a position of leadership and is supposed to represent and work for all of the citizens of Lewiston, is he not?
I don’t live in Lewiston. I’m saying what it looks like as a news viewer. It looks like Gilbert is hiding the answers that man, and others, deserve to know.
