AUBURN — Eveline M. Michaud, 86, of Lewiston died Friday, Oct. 14, at Hospice House of Androscoggin with family by her side.

She was born in Bath, Feb. 17, 1925, the daughter of the late Joseph and Leonie (Lebel) Michaud. She was a resident of Lewiston since 1954. Prior to her retirement, she worked for 43 years for New England Telephone and Telegraph Co. as an operator. After her retirement, she volunteered at St. Mary’s Hospital. She was a member of the Telephone Pioneer’s Association.

She is survived by a brother, Arthur Michaud of Lewiston; a sister, Louise (Michaud) Head of Georgia; two nieces, Anne Marie Michaud of Greene and Mariette Leino, her husband, Mark, their two sons, Joshua and Caleb of Lewiston; several cousins; and many friends.

It was her in heart to put others first. She was generous, caring, and loving and will be missed by those who knew her.
