AUBURN — Sheila A. Caldwell, 69, a resident of 741 Washington St., North, Auburn, formerly of Barker Arms Apartments, died Tuesday, Oct. 18, following a long illness, with her family by her side.
She was born in Lewiston, June 17, 1942, the daughter of Lloyd Nadeau and Theresa Levasseur. She attended local schools and was a graduate of Edward Little High School.
Sheila went on to be a waitress at York Steak House and the High Hat Restaurant for many years. She enjoyed flea markets, yard sales and playing cards. She was most proud of her family as a major accomplishment as a working mother.
Survivors include her mother, Theresa St. Clair of Connecticut; her son, Ricky Caldwell; her three daughters, Wanda Thomas, Wendy Bellefleur and Tarnya Dunn; 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; as well as many close friends.
She was predeceased by her father, Lloyd Nadeau; her stepmother, Maize Nadeau; and one stepbrother, Ernest Merchant.
