AUBURN — Willis of Northern New England Inc. announces that William J. (Jeff) Lewis, AIC, has been promoted to the position of vice president, alternative markets.
Lewis, who holds both insurance producer and adjuster licenses, is based in New Gloucester. He joined Willis’ predecessor, Dunlap Corp., in 1992 as a claims adjuster trainee. After five years, he moved to the alternative markets side of the firm, where he rose from technical specialist to department manager.
He is responsible for management of the Alternative Markets Department, where he has developed extensive expertise in the administration of self-insured workers’ compensation group trusts. The Alternative Markets Department currently services nine Maine groups representing approximately 240 companies.
