RUMFORD — A Mass of Christian Burial honoring the life of Robert Joseph Bernard was celebrated Wednesday at Parish of the Holy Savior. Fr. Philip Tracy was the celebrant. George Gionet was the altar server and Mark Belanger was the organist. Music selections were “Be Not Afraid,” “Amazing Grace,” “Ave Maria” and “Fly Like a Bird.” The first reading was proclaimed by his grandchild, Dresden Pawlick. The second reading was proclaimed by his granddaughter, Jessica Soucy. A poem was read by his daughter, Linda Pawlick. Pallbearers were his son-in-law, Thaddeus Pawlick, and grandchildren, Jessica Soucy, Kate Pawlick and Dresden Pawlick. Military Honors were rendered by the Maine Funeral Honor Guard. Interment was in St. John Cemetery. Services by SG Thibault Funeral Home.
