AUBURN — The 48th annual Auburn Ski Association Ski Swap will take place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 13, at Auburn Middle School on Falcon Drive.

There will be new and used winter sports equipment, including skis, boots, poles, snowboards, helmets and clothing. To sell quality used equipment on consignment, bring items to the AMS cafeteria from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 12.

There is a 50 cent charge per item and ASA keeps 18 percent of the sales proceeds. Checks from the sale of items will be available after the swap from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Sunday. Any items that do not sell must be picked up during that time.

ASA is a nonprofit organization providing financial support for Alpine and Nordic race programs at Edward Little High School and the Auburn Middle School, as well as the Lost Valley Race Club, SNOMAD and Central Maine Adaptive Skiing.

ASA also provides scholarships and purchases equipment for area teams and clubs. ASA has been serving Auburn area families for more than 50 years, since the days of the Pettingill ski jump and the beginning of Lost Valley.
