Craft fair
WEST PARIS — The West Paris Fire Auxiliary Craft Fair will take place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 3, at the West Paris Agnes Gray School. There will be a door prize and a 50/50. First U worship
PARIS — Rev. Anita White will be the worship leader at the First Universalist Church, 36 Pine St., Sunday, Dec. 4. The service will begin at 10 a.m. with Forest Perkins, organist, and the choir. Renee Wales will lead the Sunday School. The Coffee Hour will follow in Good Cheer Hall. Everyone is invited.
Socrates Cafe
WATERFORD — A Socrates Cafe gathering will be held at the Waterford Library from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 5. Meetings are held on the first Monday of each month. The group offers a forum to discuss current topics and ideas in a warm, friendly atmosphere, where divergent views will be welcome.
The topic for the December meeting will be “The Culture of Individualism: Too Much, Too Little, Just Right?” The moderator will be Sally Chappell.
