SALEM TOWNSHIP — Franklin County is Gov. Paul LePage’s Capital for a Day on Wednesday.

The state’s chief executive will make an 8 a.m. visit to NotifyMD in Farmington. Then he’ll travel north to visit the Poland Spring water bottling plant in Kingfield, Stratton Lumber in Eustis and Geneva Wood Fuels in Strong, according to Press Secretary Adrienne Bennett.

His last stop will be at Mt. Abram High School’s cafeteria for a town hall meeting at 6 p.m.

“We’ll have about an hour and 15 minutes of time for questions,” Bennett said. “We’ll get to as many questions as we can.”

She has traveled with LePage to other parts of the state and said the town hall meetings have been respectful and challenging.

“We want people to feel comfortable asking questions,” she said.

Several of LePage’s commissioners will field questions, also, Bennett said.

Joining the evening panel will be Department of Environmental Protection Commissioner Pattie Aho, Department of Conservation Commissioner William Beardsley, Department of Agriculture Commissioner Walt Whitcomb, and Department of Administrative and Financial Services Commissioner Sawin Millett, and Department of Transportation Commissioner David Bernhardt.
