WILTON — A brief, public workshop to give residents an opportunity to brainstorm and suggest goals for the town to work on during the coming year will begin at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 20, at the town office. The half-hour workshop precedes the Board of Selectmen’s meeting, which will start tonight at 7:15 p.m.
Citizens are welcome to come and voice their ideas on things they would like to see the town work on in 2012, Town Manager Rhonda Irish said.
Other things may come up throughout the year but by setting some goals and objectives, town officials and the citizens can know these items are being worked on, she said.
During Tuesday’s workshop, Irish plans to write down all ideas for the board to review and consider. During their first meeting in 2012, on Jan. 3, the board will make a decision and pinpoint goals for the coming year.
In other business, the board will discuss single-sort recycling, review Mt. Blue TV’s 2012 operating budget, and review the Code Enforcement report given by Paul Montague, code enforcement officer.
