LEWISTON — A Mass of Christian Burial honoring the life of Michael J. Poulin was celebrated by the Rev. Nathan March and con-celebrated by the Revs. Paul Marquis, Albert Roux and Paul Pare Monday at Holy Family Church, Prince of Peace Parish. In attendance at Mass were delegations from both Downeast Financial and Isaacson and Raymond. During Mass, the offertory gifts were brought to the altar by Michael’s sisters, Pauline Look and Joanne Landry. Soloist Nick Knowlton, Mike’s brother-in-law, sang “Amazing Grace.” Words of remembrance were shared by Mike’s granddaughter, Jenna Cote and by Mike’s brother, Richard Poulin. Following a procession to St. Peter’s Cemetery, the Rev. March recited committal prayers and concluded with a special song written by Denny Breau called “The 12th of Forever” sung by Mike’s brother-in-law, Nick Knowlton. Bearers were Matthew, Roger and Edward Poulin Jr., as well as Jim and John Landry and Nicholas Knowlton. At the conclusion of services, all were invited to a reception of fellowship at Marco’s Restaurant. Arrangements by Pinette and Lynch Funeral Home.
