Warm supper

FAYETTE — The next Keep Me Warm supper will be held from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 7, at Fayette Central School. There will be food, music and raffles. Rabies, microchip

INDUSTRY — The Franklin County Animal Shelter will hold a rabies and microchip clinic from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Jan. 7, at the Industry Town Hall. Rabies vaccines will be $15 and microchips are $25. Call the animal shelter at 778-2638 for more information.

Country music

SALEM — A+E Hill Country Music will perform down home country music at the Salem Community Building at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 8. A donation box will be at the door and refreshments will be on sale.

Hawaiian square dance

WILTON — Friendship Squares will host a Hawaiian mainstream/plus square dance from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 8, at the Cushing School in East Wilton. The caller will be Walt Bull and the cuer, Carol Stewart. All are welcome.

Task force meeting

FARMINGTON — The annual meeting of the Franklin County Children’s Task Force will be held at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 10, at their Church Street conference room. This meeting is open to the public.

The Franklin County Children’s Task Force is a public, not for profit organization with a mission of strengthening families and preventing child abuse and neglect through mobilizing community resources and advocating for and providing services that promote healthy children and families.

Free luncheon

FARMINGTON — A free community luncheon will be served from noon to 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 14, at Old South First Congregational Church.

The menu includes chicken stew over biscuits and cake for dessert.

Spelling bee

FARMINGTON — Mt. Blue Middle School held their annual spelling bee on Dec. 16. The following students will be moving on to the district bee in order of place.

First place: Miriam Cohen, Shamira Tanguay, Grace Andrews, Charlene Pratt, Alan Sherrod. Alternate: Thomas Wing. The district spelling bee will take place at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 18, at Cape Cod Hill School in New Sharon.
