Quilters to meet

RUMFORD — Rumford Area Quilters will meet at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 9, at the Rumford United Methodist Church, Linnell Street.

Twelve and a half inch squares will be gratefully accepted for the “square bank.” Instructions for the next two blocks of the mystery quilt will be distributed. Show and tell is a regular feature of the meetings. All area quilters welcome. For more information call 562-7050.

RUMFORD — Members of the Stephens High School class of 1949 will meet for their regular monthly luncheon at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 18, at the Route 2 Diner.

Supper, auction, dance

RUMFORD — A meatloaf supper, Chinese auction and dance will be held Saturday, Jan. 21, at the Snowshoe Club to benefit club athletes.

Supper will be served from 5 to 6:30 p.m. The dance is from 7 to 11 p.m. with music by Noel & Don.

The cost is $7 per person and $4 for children 12 and under. Members and guests are welcome.
