DALLAS PLANTATION — A celebration of life service for Ernest “Ernie” Gilbert of Dallas Plantation was held Saturday from the Winslow Middle School with the Rev. Nathan T. Richards, of the Norridgewock and Solon Congregational Church officiating. Scripture readings included Proverbs 24:10; Isaiah 40:31, 1 Corinthians 9:24-27 and II Timothy 4:6-7. Friends offered personal reflections about Ernie’s influence on their lives. Following services, all were welcomed at a comfort reception at the Waterville Elks Lodge, where a video tribute was shared with those in attendance. Arrangements were in the care of the Wiles Remembrance Center, Farmington.
