AUBURN — Memorial services honoring the life of Burton E. Parker were held Thursday from the Memorial Chapel of Dillingham & Son with Pastor Steven Brownell presiding. During the service, Burton’s stepgreat-granddaughter Mikayla Floerchenge sang “Amazing Grace” accompanied by Burton’s granddaughters, Marissa Parker Bair and Leanna Parker Bair, who both played the violin. Words of remembrance were shared by Burton’s son, Kendrick Parker and by Burton’s grandson Jeremey Gagne.Graveside committal prayers will be held later in the spring at Gracelawn Memorial Park in Auburn. At the conclusion of services, all in attendance were invited to Governor’s Restaurant in Lewiston for a reception of fellowship.
