LEWISTON — Have you learned the routine yet?

With snow in the forecast, area police departments are advising that parking bans will be in effect Friday morning.

In Auburn, parking on city streets will be banned between midnight and noon on Friday. A similar ban was expected to go into effect in Lewiston.

Violators, as always, will have their cars towed.

Weather forecasters are calling for snow off and on throughout Thursday night and Friday morning. Between 3 and 6 inches is expected by the time it’s over.
