BANGOR — Senior assistant captain Cody Rodrigue scored the game-clincher in overtime to lift St. Dom’s to a 2-1 victory over Bangor in boys’ ice hockey action Saturday.

The Rams (11-4) scored early with a tally from Carl Farnham at the 13:01 mark of the first period.

Junior defenseman Will Desmarais knotted up the contest at 13:21 of the third period for the Saints (10-5), and sent the game into overtime.

Rodrigue came out of the right corner, and fired a shot to the right top shelf of the net just 1:09 into the overtime frame for St. Dom’s.

Goalie Chris Howat made 25 saves for Bangor, while goalie Grant Carrier earned the win in net for St. Dom’s with 16 saves.

Edward Little 4, Gray-NG/Poland 3

AUBURN — Jared Pelletier drove home a pair of late third period goals for Edward Little en route to a 4-3 triumph over Gray-New Gloucester/Poland in boys’ ice hockey action.

Branden Dyer took a shot from the point tip with just a minute and a half to go in regulation to put the Red Eddies (9-5-1) up 4-3.

Brendon Pelletier collected three assists for Edward Little.

Lucas Nickerson recorded a goal and an assist for the Patriotic-Knights (2-13) in the losing effort.

Goalie Calvin Shelley made 33 saves for Gray-New Gloucester Poland, while Alan Nelson turned back 28 shots to earn the win in net for Edward Little.

Greely 6, Leavitt 4

FALMOUTH — Reid Howland scored a pair of goals and assisted on two others to lead Greely to a 6-4 vixctory over Leavitt in a boys’ hockey game Saturday.

Leavitt led 3-2 after one period on goal by Tyler Hutchinson, Ian Durgin and Jacob Gladu.

Greely (9-3-2) fought back with two goals in the second period sandwiched around Gladu’s second tally to tie the game at 4-4 entering the final stanza.

Joe Saffian scored the game-winner at 2:39 of the final period and added an insurance goal in the final minute.

Gladu finished with two goals and one assist for Leavitt.

Nick Allen had a strong game in net for the Hornets (5-10), stopping 41 shots. Greely goalie Kyle Kramlick was credited with 23 saves.
