SABATTUS — Douglas and Kathy Thomas of Winthrop are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Amanda Thomas of Sabattus, to Kevin Ashton of Sabattus, son of Charles and Nancy Ashton of Sabattus.

Miss Thomas is a 1997 graduate of Lewiston High School and has been employed as member service manager at Sabattus Regional Credit Union since 2005.

Mr. Ashton is a 1992 graduate of Oak Hill High School and is self-employed in recreational vehicle sales/light excavation.

The wedding is planned for July 7 at Norcross Point Park in Winthrop.
