Scott Sandion dances to the music during the John F. Murphy Homes dinner at Lewiston Middle School on Wednesday. Members of the school’s Student Council served more than 130 turkey dinners to residents of JFM, an agency that services people with developmental disabilities. The school has held the event each April for more than 20 years, Student Council co-adviser Tricia Giard said. Following dinner, students and residents danced to the tunes of disc jockey Ernie Gagne. “This is my favorite date of the year,” said Gagne, a fourth-grade teacher at Geiger Elementary who has participated in the JFM event for eight years.
