RAYMOND — The Raymond-Casco Historical Society will present “Dowsing,” with Wayne Holmquist as the speaker, at 6:30 p.m. Monday, April 9, at the Raymond Public Safety Building.
Holmquist, of Raymond, will explain the ancient art of dowsing and how it is used to find lost graves and old wells. Not only can Holmquist identify cemetery plots and tell where the corner posts were, he can also tell if there are men, women or children buried there.
This is a program of special interest to people who have private family burial grounds on their property, or who would like to learn the art of dowsing. All are welcome and there is no fee to attend.
