LEWISTON — Lyda Mae Rutschman, 89, formerly of Sabattus, passed away on April 9.

She was born in Broken Arrow, Okla., Jan. 25, 1923, to Charles and Ora Jean Cox. She enjoyed spending time with her family and crossword puzzles. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by two sons, Jack and Alvin Hunter, a daughter, Betty Reecy, and their families; her sister, Betty Cooper; sister-in-law, Vivian Rutschman; and many other family members.

She was predeceased by her husband, Arthur Rutschman; her parents, her two brothers, Larry and Arthur Cox; her two sisters, Edna Stewart and Dorothy Laudette; her daughter-in-law, Linda Hunter; and son-in-law, Richard Reecy.
