Sundae’s Ice Cream Shoppe will open Saturday on Center Street in Auburn, next to D’Angelo Grilled Sandwiches. They will be the exclusive vendors of Round Top hard serve ice cream, a Damariscotta company making ice cream since 1934, owners Stan and Alison Bennett said. They also will have a unique brand of soft serve by Flavor Burst that coats the exterior with a variety of colors and flavors. The restaurant seats 36 diners and has a large chalkboard for children to draw on. Other treats will be available.
